Michelle Obama says there’s ‘zero chance’ she’ll run for president

[WASHINGTONEXAMINER]

Michelle Obama is still resistant to calls for her launch a 2020 bid for president.

The former first lady told Amtrak magazine the National there is "zero chance" she will challenge President Trump for the White House, saying there are plenty of other ways she can improve the country without being president.

"There are so many ways to improve this country and build a better world, and I keep doing plenty of them, from working with young people to helping families lead healthier lives. But sitting behind the desk in the Oval Office will never be one of them. It’s just not for me," she said.

She’s made it very clear in the past that she loathes politicians and has little patience for interacting with the voting public. Like Mrs. Bill Clinton, she really is not cut out for the unique pleasures of political life.

Just living in the White House for eight years in no way qualifies you to be the President.
