Georgian sentenced to 14 years for ISIS recruitment

[Ynet] A Georgian man has been convicted of recruiting people into the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....

In the same case, the court on Monday also sentenced two others to 11 and 10 years in prison for attempting to join the group and a fourth, who pleaded guilty, was sentenced to one year.
The recruiter, Ayup Borchashvili, was a holy man in the village of Dzhokolo in Georgia's Pankisi Gorge that is heavily populated by ethnic Chechens.
One of the area's residents, Tarkhan Batirashvili, became one of the top commanders of the Islamic State murderous Moslems under the name of Omar al Shishani.
