Obama's Cave-In To Iran May Be Worse Than We Knew
I haven't seen this elsewhere, though to be fair I haven't looked. And it must be remembered that the Muslim world is full of fantasists who believe that what they hear coming from their own mouths must therefore be true. because they heard it.
[AmericanThinker] While Americans enjoyed their day of thanks and feasting yesterday, news emerged from the Arab world about a shocking dimension of the cave-in to Iran at Geneva. If true, this report from Al-Arabiya is highly disturbing:

Iran and the United States are to establish a joint chamber of commerce within a month, with direct flights also planned, an Iranian official said Wednesday in a newspaper report.

"Iran-U.S. chamber of commerce will be launched in less than one month," Abolfazl Hejazi, a member of Iran's Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, told the English-language Iran Daily.

In the wake of a historic accord on Sunday between Tehran and major powers on Iran's controversial nuclear program, Hejazi also said his country was ready to start direct flights to the United States.

Iran remains in full possession of its nuclear potential, has not renounced its aim of wiping Israel off the map, and continues to be the leading sponsor of worldwide terrorism. Yet the United States is starting to treat it as a friendly nation? I am tempted to verge into profanity.

Why on earth would we want direct flights from Iran to the United States? Iran would control the cargo hold on such flights, which would be able to enter American airspace. Does anyone think the Itanians are so respectful of human life that they would not martyr a planeload of passengers (sending the Moslems to heaven in their view) for the pleasure of detonating a nuke a few thousand feet above New York City?

I hope and pray that this report is false.
Update: Mark Steyn comments on the story reported by AFP. It's vintage Steyn: knowledgeable, witty, and scathing. Well worth your time.

#1 Or as another venerable publication puts it:

‘The Onion’ Vows To Carry On Iran’s Nuclear Weapons Program Until The Job Is Done

Rest assured, The Onion keeps its promises.

The Onion guarantees in no uncertain terms that Iran’s nuclear development will continue as planned, with no delays or downturn whatsoever. In fact, in light of these recent events in Geneva, not only will we deliver on the original terms of our arrangement, but we will also redouble our efforts and promise you this, in no uncertain terms: Iran will, Insha'Allah, have the greatest, most devastating nuclear arsenal the world has ever seen within 12 months’ time.

#3 Way back in Oct., 2010 (Seems like forever ago) British radical Muslim activist Anjem Choudary said on ABC: “We do believe, as Muslims, the East and the West will one day be governed by the Shariah [law]. Indeed, we believe that one day, the flag of Islam will fly over the White House.”

As planned. However, most plans do have a way of getting "train-wrecked" along the way. Just consider ObamaCare.

#4 Of course the Iranian profited by this. As Kissinger report Mao telling him about the opening of negotiations, "If I didn't have anything to gain you wouldn't be here; if you didn't have anything to gain, you shouldn't have come."

Sorry Irishrageboy, "When will we retaliate?" Never To any American Democrat voter under the age of 54 years old these events are "ancient history", happened before the majority of them were born (34 years ago) and well after the second half of these Democrat voters 35-54 had any skin in the game - they were kids.
