Showing video clips at a presser is a ballsy move, diplomatically speaking. It is a wonder Donald does not clank when he walks.

As a negotiator, Trump likes to open big. "Look Cyril, we can do business but you gotta fix this problem for me. The farmer thing is bad optics. (in addition to being embarrassingly dysfunctional in a modern country)"

I do like how "ambushed" is showing up everywhere. My 2nd favorite is excusing the farmer murders by pointing out how many more blacks have been killed.

Of course, when they get into a bunker, they can get out without having to worry about someone filling the room with smoke.

Yes, ambushed is an interesting go-to, unless they are trying to co-opt it before what really happens gets out. One of the interesting things I read was creating false areas of cover/conceal so that when lights are kicked on, the ambushers are naturally drawn to them, and so self pin themselves.
