#2 What I heard, Europeans do not have an autonomous defense plan. US were the guarantors of any peace plan they presented. Starmer and Marcon said US + Guarantees about a dozen times.

Their plan is to put NATO troops into harms way with plausible deniability so when a death does occur, they can simultaneously deny it was premediated while calling for Article 5 to pull the US into the quagmire.

There is no European Defense without the US.

#5 Given that it looks like Trump will give in to Yeltsin's 1999 demand to "Just give Europe to Russia." Europe would actually be well advised to longer bother with NATO or Ukraine and build lots of nukes.

Ultimately, a future existence as a neo-Soviet Russian satrapy should be an unacceptable perspective for all EU nations and nukes are the most cost-effective way to avoid that fate now.
