So, here we have a demographic group, that only makes up roughly 14% of the US population, accounting for almost 1/2 of all US's UN-Wed births and single Moms.

QUESTION:
So, why would any Local, State or Fed Political Party design and fund a process that it knows will produce growing generation after generation number of single mothers on TAXPAYER assistance?

SIDE NOTE:
Given the multi-Generational practice of multi-sperm donor hook-ups. With a surprising number actually seeking to become pregnant and get a free taxpayer ride.

There was also a study done some years ago, regarding the possible later generation inadvertent 1st and 2nd cousin hook-ups producing offspring in the Housing Projects and nearby areas.

#6 Would be interesting to see a graph of those single parent demographic distributions over time - say 100 years. I am surprised whites are still down at 14% - my perception was that for the past generation the white kids have been racing to catch up with their tanner peers.

#7 It's % of single mothers per ethnic group - not ethnic percentage of single mothers, NN2N1 (note the numbers don't add to 100).
That is, 47% of black mothers are single - not 47% of single mothers are black.

Are you sure about that? I do not know any white kids, millennials or GenZ, who are single parents. Outside of gays but I dont want to digress there. And I tend to hand out with white trash and derelicts, that's the demographic most likely to be single parents, and I am not seeing it. Not like I did with my GenX peers.

#13 I do not know any white kids, millennials or GenZ, who are single parents.

I know several who started out single parents, but after a few years found someone to marry — sometimes well chosen, sometimes not. All have lots of support, both babysitting and financial, from their middle to upper-middle class parents.

It’s interesting to see the kids of the educated and successful choosing not to abort their whoopsies.

#14 It turned out that the welfare programs of the 1960s "Great Society" made it financially very advantageous for the woman to not be married. We destroyed the black families, which had previously been making great progress economically and socially. Johnson loved it.
