#1 The Western left is all-in-all reprehensible in their enmity to Western Civilization but that doesn't imply that there aren't dubious element on the right.

Le Pen did advocate some sound policies and some bad policies, but IMHO for the wrong reasons.

Objectively, however he did much less damage to Western Civilization than e.g. Jimmy Cater who was arguably more dangerous post-presidency than as President.
