It wasn't just the teacher, per speculation in the first link. And if there was any bullying, it wasn't visible to the kids who sat next to her or had a locker next to her; on the contrary.

Wild guess, in light of her "manifesto" and the 2nd link--the parents were getting desperate and hoped the Christian school would be a good influence.
