DC didn't go full internationalist again till the events of 1948 with Soviet subversion around the globe [Czechoslovakia, Turkey, Greece, China, and Berlin airlift]. The price for that 'save the world' mentality costs us the very Constitutional law that we have lived with since the beginning. It was the start of the never ending centralization and concentration of power that we are dealing with today along with the death of classical liberalism that would be compromised by the hard Left in the lust for that power. The world is still chaos and our treasury empty.
