#2 Well, the EU charter said on ratification if any member declined it killed the compact. Denmark and Ireland declined and they made them have a 'do over' till they got the answer they wanted.

#5 Yeah, there was some real hanky-panky going on there (intimidation, fake endorsements, forged ballots, etc. - not unlike a few locales in the US 2020 election cycle).

National polling 2 weeks before the election had Georgescu at less than 1%.
