Yes, Secretary Blinken is Jewish, and even was reared by a Holocaust survivor who escaped the Nazi death march to take refuge in an American tank. But he was born in Yonkers and never took Israeli citizenship.

Nor is there any reason for Israel to respect someone who so clearly prioritizes Israel’s enemies — also America’s enemies, but whatevs.
