#1 Wisconsin already asked for and got the restrictions lifted. A tornado took the Joliet refinery offline. I hold no brief for her, but the request isn't crazy or particularly hypocritical -- the EPA should do a regional waiver without being asked.

Yep. The Embridge Line 5 pipeline. The enviros are afraid a ship will drag an anchor and rupture the pipeline which would destroy the planet. Embridge wants to bore a tunnel thru the bedrock under the Straits of Mackinac, but the enviros are afraid that might work so they are against that too.
