#5 NATO should have been disbanded in 1992 with the end of the cold war

Their only reason for existence is to funnel money to weapons dealers Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman etc as all the countries signing on have to agree to update their military equipment so it can be interoperable with NATO forces (which means buying US military hardware)
