#8 ...Were I an Evil Mastermind, I would start organizing the landlords, and then present the city with this.

1. We will happily rent to these people.
2. Leases will be for 12 months, payable in full before anybody gets the keys. We would not be at all upset if the city of Denver writes the checks.
3. The City of Denver shall accept full responsibility for, and agree to pay for, ANY damage to these properties.
4. The City of Denver shall accept full responsibility for renewing these leases under the original terms, and shall acknowledge their responsibility to move/evict these tenants should it become necessary.
5. Should these tenants refuse to vacate on schedule, the City of Denver shall pay the landlords 200% of rent until the property is vacated.

Watch heads explode.

#11 How do you background check an illegal?
Renting to illegals drives up costs for legals.
Lib cities usually have more protection for squatters than landlords.
Why would you expect an illegal to honor a lease.
Renting to illegals is foolish.
