#4 It was easy to declare your state or city a sanctuary when the border was thousands of miles away and it was going to be a problem for the hicks along the southern border.

It was all fun and games until those hicks started shipping those "dreamers" north. NOW, it's a serious problem and Mayors like Adam's are crying uncle.
