#2 Just mandate E Verify and eliminate the handout incentivizing them to come. They will deport themselves. At that point you can open the throttle on legal immigration as needed. Everyone may have to cut their own lawn for a while.

#3 I can imagine France getting very, very ugly when they've finally had enough and it's too late for them to manage the problem in a more civilized manner. Well, just remember what the Algerians had to do to get rid of the French. Then I can imagine all the condemnations by those who haven't yet figured it out. Ferdinand and Isabella got wise but it was nasty what they had to do.

#4 Self-deportation is the key. E-Verify and stringent enforcement of every form of welfare and public assistance exclusively for US Citizens and legal aliens. Simple as can be. I'm even for amnesty routes with rest areas to help return then to the border.
