#1 Well, being as the basic Iron Dome premise is that the 'footprint' of the protected area is analysed and sorted into 'must protect' vs 'low priority', it's easy to see how that conclusion would be drawn. You defend the areas you must; the rest are on their own. At a mil$ a pop, you can't afford to protect everything.

#2 It is worth adding a drone jammer to all defense networks. The EA6B could turn the lights out, so the technology is there to block drone control signals for whatever time is needed.
