#1 "could run out of tanks by 2025"
Considering it will likely be over with in 2024, that's reassuring.

#2 Russian industry is currently only delivering 390 tanks a year

Russia cannot and never has built armor on this scale. They are drawing on their Soviet inheritance. And with losses at 5-20 per day, they are using up Soviet era stocks pretty quickly.

#3 The Russians tend to use tanks more for quickly moveable indirect artillery than actual assault, which is why they've resurrected the old T-62's and T-55's from storage.

They're not looking for maneuverability or modern electronics, just something to send shells in a general direction.

#4 French researchers have scrutinized thousands of Russian satellite photos and corporate records and concluded that if rate of attrition goes on, Moscow could run out of tanks by 2025.

What? By that time they will have rolled into Kiev.

#5 The institute’s evaluation was that Russia still holds a substantial stock of older tanks suitable for refurbishment, probably around 6,000 vehicles, which contradicts the assessment by other research groups, such as GlobalFirepower which put Russia’s total stocks at 12,566 vehicles.

Quantity is a quality. If they throw 10 old Soviet tanks against one new Leopard, the Leopard is going down.

#6 Quantity is a quality. If they throw 10 old Soviet tanks against one new Leopard, the Leopard is going down.

But they don't. They use drones & artillery.

#7 But they don't. They use drones & artillery.

The question then becomes, do the Ukrainians have enough drones and artillery to stop all the tanks coming their way?

#10 The IAR findings, however, indicated that a significant percentage of these supposed tank reserves are mere hulks stored in open fields.

I'm pretty sure the American word for such a place is called a boneyard. Great place to find, for instance, a fuse box for a 1974 VW Rabbit; I'm not so sure about tanks, though.
