#1 Huge loss of life for Ukrainians. Running across open fields with mines laid and no air cover. Air and artillery ground and pound. They run because then they are harder to hit. Productive Russian meat grinder is the result. Sharp differences in kill ratios.

#2 The same way you take down air defenses since day 1.
(1) Identify which AAA sites work as a network. How do they follow local threats, etc.
(2) Pick out a single group area. End of defensive line, weak zone with thin coverage, etc.
(3) Hammer that local zone, overwhelm them faster than they can respond.
You should then be able to get around and behind adjoining networks, and possibly 'roll them up'.
It all depends on whether your opponent has any depth of defense.

#3 #2 Yes, but Ukrainians don't have the bodies to replace losses. This is exactly why the South lost the civil war. The north had the population numbers and the machinery. The South should have operated defensibly as should the Ukrainians. Constant attacks repeated over and over with losses every time.
