#9 OK, guys, here's the thing:
All ICBM's and almost all IRBM's are hypersonic. It's a the nature of the platform. They have to go that fast.
In this instance the launch profile has been changed from vertical to shallow. The actual practical breakthough has to be in the bus steerability and processing for the triginometry of low grazing angles.
