#2 You know there is actually an ICD-10 medical code (will verify that you are 'human') for the effects of being sucked into a jet engine:

V97.33XD is a billable ICD code used to specify a diagnosis of sucked into jet engine, subsequent encounter. A 'billable code' is detailed enough to be used to specify a medical diagnosis.

Well I guess it's useful after all...

#7 I am informed that the term among military ground crews is "get Hoovered up".
I wonder if this is a by product of the shift to turbofans, which pull in a great deal more air the the older turbojets. 'Cause that's what gives them more propulsion.
