#2 I take it the local DA is good with catch and release anyway. Just tell the judge you identify as a brown bear.

#3 Here in NH we had a bear come into the garage through a window, not second floor, open the garbage bin, take out a bag of garbage, tear open the OTHER window screen, took the bag outside and had a picnic. We've kept the two torn screens for 4 years to show everyone. Oh yeah it came in over my work bench without disturbing a single tool or the project I was working on. Moved a trail camera to see if he came back and the next day there he was posing.

Least he didn't get into the kitchen.

#4 I was staying with a friend in New England a few years ago in early fall, and we woke up to a trash dumpster area that was pretty trashed (no pun intended), 99.9% from a bear trying to get to the dumpsters which were in a locked, enclosed area. That bear gave it his best shot.
