#8 HFC is not getting the Chairman positions they covet. Chairmanships guarantee the MAGA agenda. McCarthy has not negotiated in good faith.
Nor is he trustworthy. In the past he has used democrats in congress to bypass conservative votes. It would be political suicide not to oppose him.
