#4 Unless the UA say otherwise, I'm inclined to credit it as an honest accident. Moving by motor vehicle through war zones can be pretty damn chancy. Everyone grants himself conditional exemption from the normal rules of the road, and often there aren't MPs around to keep order, and adrenaline makes people do stupid, unpredictable things, especially behind the wheel.

Lots of generals and couriers over the years have gotten hurt or killed in stupid collisions going from one meeting to another, and Zelensky's been out and about a lot, half posturing, half actually doing his job, at considerable risk to his person. And automobile accidents are probably just as much of a risk in this situation as a guy with a gun and a plan.

This one happened in Kyiv, though, I think?

Kyeeev falls under attack every time a foreign delegation visits. Makes for a good Serpentine photo op.
