Did you really think that everything will be as was?
Germans Italian French and the rest cannot compete in the world without Russian resources. Using American resources will put them out of business.
Russia will not permit this to repeat, if the euro wants to keep their standards of life, trading with Russia will demand the American/European military alliances to be terminated.
You will see, in the nexts few months the European military and political detachment from the North American sphere. The CIA screw up biggly…..

Ain't gonna happen. I can see them maybe pinching off a little along their common border, but central Ukraine is flat and undefendable. Not the place to fight the Poles/NATO.
