#4 Lord, Austin is now as liberal as CA. All the tech companies that started moving to Austin in the 80s and 90s dubbed Austin as Silicon Hills. And they brought their politics with them. Austin has always been blue, it's gotten worse. Homeless camps now have potties,showers, running water, etc. Police cut by 150B with incredible up tick in crime, etc.....
