#2 The trial could be very interesting. I will bet dollars to doughnuts that the tactics he used are prescribed in the MPD training manual and are taught at the MPD training academy. I know "following orders" is not a defense after Nuremburg. But I do wonder just how the prosecution and/or the jury would respond to a pretty thorough expose of the MPD policies and procedures...or what political fallout there might be (one can hope.)

That's not the same thing. That is, the defense will bring up stats: the hold was used 10,000 with zero fatalities. In fact, I'm sure the hold was used on George Floyd before.
