1. All the machine guns in Iran wouldn't do anything to a carrier other than chip the paint.
2. Carriers never travel alone. They are surrounded by cruisers and destroyers who would leave the speed boats as a pile of floating splinters.
3. The first time an Iranian vessel fires on an American warship, all of Iran's naval ports disappear in a cloud of smoke.
