Bright Pebbles, I heartily disagree. I am a Boomer. Most of the people my age that I know are also Boomers. I think what you said is true of parts of all generations. Don't paint us all with the same brush.

Um, do I have to point out that the oldest of this "New" generation was 11 in 1957?

I doubt that they had much to do with anything other than maybe Elvis' popularity. My sister loved him, I hated him....but then I was only 8.
