#1 I understand a little more now why those LGBTQXYZ people are so angry. If I had to get up every morning looking to an "icon" like jusseh to get through my day, I'd be bitter too.

#2 I doubt Van Jones ever watched the show - Smollett was (!) a bit player on the Empire cast. Seems a bit of a stretch to make him into a 'beloved character', say like Archie Bunker!
