#1 I just can’t imagine their rationale. Now the Dems will have a judge that deeply hates them for the next 25 years, even though he was probably more or less neutral 30 days ago. That’s just a stupid self-inflicted wound.

Because the Pubs were supposed to get all wobbly and encourage him to gracefully back off.

Because this was supposed to bring out the women who would finally finish Trump.

They're toddlers. They can't think beyond their immediate demands and urges, and they certainly never consider the possibility that they might fail.

Even if he doesn't hate them, he's almost certain to be deeply suspicious of their motives and their honesty in everything they do.

#15 I agree. They're frantic for immediate gratification. There's also a marked tendency among liberals to avoid looking beyond what I call the "first-order affects" of their preferred policies and actions. Like Harry Reid and the filibustering of judicial appointees...
