#1 Happens when you invert cause and effect. The police were not the cause of the underlying problems, rather the effect to the underlying problems. Now you don't have the police and still have the underlying problems. As long as you allow members of your community to denounce effective behaviors labeled as 'whiteness' I doubt you'll ever solve the underlying problems.

#5 The police backed off as the protesters demanded. Now they're not happy that the police did as they asked. WTF. Someone make this make sense. It's as of the protesters didn't want to be taken seriously.

#7 Lets do a Gedankenexperiment. Suppose police comes back, and - in the first week - they've a violent encounter with drug dealers in which one of the later get's killed. (i) Would there be a violent protest? (ii) What Rev. Scott's position will be?
