#1 FOX - Arms dealer Marc Turi says administration made him scapegoat on Libya operation to 'protect' Clinton

EXCLUSIVE: American arms dealer Marc Turi, in his first television interview since criminal charges against him were dropped, told Fox News that the Obama administration -- with the cooperation of Hillary Clinton’s State Department -- tried and failed to make him the scapegoat for a 2011 covert weapons program to arm Libyan rebels that spun out of control.

“I would say, 100 percent, I was victimized…to somehow discredit me, to throw me under the bus, to do whatever it took to protect their next presidential candidate,” he told Fox News chief intelligence correspondent Catherine Herridge.

The 48-year-old Arizona resident has been at the epicenter of a failed federal investigation led by the Justice Department spanning five years and costing the government an estimated $10 million or more, Turi says.

Turi admits to a criminal history. He told Fox Business that in the late 1980s, he stole a computer, his roommate's car, and wrote bad checks including one for $100,000 dollars. Through court records, Fox News verified he was arrested, convicted, and served time in an Arizona jail.

"In my youth, I made some very very bad mistakes...I was discharged from the United States Navy other under than honorable conditions...and I've been fighting ever since to get that honor back."

Marc Turi is quoted as stating: "I got involved in this business in the 1990s. I've been involved in all type of operations, regarding transportation, logistics, and liaising with those foreign governments."[2]

#3 If the Wikispooks piece is accurate, Turi is NOT someone the Intelligence Community would have anything to do with. A Turi association with Foggy Bottom is very likely another matter. Other Turi connections have yet to be revealed.

Not sure who pulled Turi into the Benghazi operation, but I suspect a simple background check terminated his involvement. A follow-up DoJ indictment help keep a thumb on him. Turi may want to keep a close eye on his 6.

He's been around for a while and commerced in some low profile environments. Not a soft target.

#10 I had a high school gym teacher named Piotrowski. His claim to fame was (according to him) being the last guy cut on one of the Boston Celtics teams, I'm guessing sometime in the '70's.
