#2 This piece in Foreign Policy by Michael Oren is giving the lefties fits. Oren is a relatively centrist (and on some issues a leftist) fellow with heavy duty credentials, broad experience, literary ability and lots of friends (including Arabs and leftist University profs) and besides that, Oren supported Obama in 2008 (before Oren did the research that led to this article).

The fact that the article essentially says that the almost all the leftist middle east experts are fools is really important (and of course really infuriating to those leftists).
