#5 #2 Blast effects 12 miles away? Doesn't sound like a common bag of Ammonium Nitrate fertilizer and some spilled fuel oil, now does it?

Certainly doesn't.

#6  Blast effects 12 miles away

IIRC the first reports were of broken windows 12 KM away, so perhaps someone has changed units?
Also, the satellite photos don't look like enough damage close to the center to have caused damage that far away. Heard the blast, yes; & maybe felt it or had it rattle loose things. Still, a good-sized accident. Or 'accident.'

#8 One of the interesting things about Iran's scientific programs is the extremely complex kluges they use in their programs. It is actually possible this really was an accident and nobody will ever know!

#9 God bless Israel. Israel said they could not let Iran go nuclear. They begged at the UN for help, all they heard was crickets. Plan B in effect two weeks later....

Actually, the interesting stuff, once well-hidden, is now scattered about for all to see.

#19 broken windows 12 KM

Or windows were broken prior, but the claim for replacement/repair was put in following the earth shattering kaboom explosion. SOP during the 50s and 60s when the zoomies would break the sound barrier with their jets in the States.

#20 Angie, are you one of my sisters?

What is truly fascinating is the media blackout on this. The BBC has now picked it up, but not even Fox has mentioned it in the US.
