#8 In the very unlikely event that this amendment ever passes, it should be called "The Incumbent Protection Amendment" or the "Goodbye First Amendment Amendment".

All today's vote did was move to debate the amendment on the floor of the Senate. It has no chance of getting the necessary 2/3 vote to move on from there.
