#4 Know a guy who handled security at the Saturday morning protest in "da ATL" (Atlanta). Media claimed 3,000, but he estimated it to be a LOT less than that (hundreds).

#6 Rule of thumb on media 'crowd' estimates:

Usually if its a protest for a Liberal/Socialist cause you divide the media estimate by 10. If its a Conservative cause you multiply by (at least) 10.

Once saw a CNN (spit!) report about 'dozens' at a rally in AZ. Later saw a helocopter picture of thousands. Liberal math.
