#5 ISTR that during the last "ricin letter" event, it was revealed that rubbing castor oil on the paper could cause the tests to come out positive. If so, this makes these tests worthless, as a few bucks could let someone taint an entire bag of mail.

#6 All ricin letters should be sent to the same address. Ths way less people have chance of being hurt.

Or ricin letters should have special stamps (maybe the old mr yuck stickers). If you send a ricin letter without the special stamp there should be a large fine.

#7 Castor Bean plants are an invasive species here in San Diego County. Acquiring seeds/ricin precursors require a simple walk in the park - so to speak. anyone could do it and this seems more political message than actual attempts to kill.
