#1 I call on General Dempsey to STAY in HIS LANE and take care of soldier business. Until martial law is declared, civilian law enforcement authorities can take care of the regular folks and preachers.

If you don't have enuf to do general, I suggest you get with the US State Department's Bureau of Diplomatic Security and others, and dust off some USEMBASSY NEO (Noncombatant Evacuation Operation) plans. Might pay some big dividends in the coming weeks.

#4 Narcissistic, political sycophant who sees himself, sabre in hand, still marching on the Plain. We've cultivated an entire generation of these self-serving, social engineers. Little wonder men of the ranks have little use for most officers. Our Army and the nation is at low point because of them. Just my two cents worth.

#6 Right. And, when DADT was repealed IIRC there were not any public resignations by any of these generals in protest. I remember being proud of my Commandant when he said that we will follow orders but no one could tell him how the repeal of DADT would enhance our war-fighting capabilities. Which, should've been the central argument the whole time.
