#2 I think most birds have good enough vision that they can see a boat coming and they're smart enough to get the hell out of the way. I would not give the human residents of San Francisco the same credit.

#3 In other news, the city of San Francisco is trying to curb panhandling with puppies. They're going to pay homeless people to adopt dogs. So now they'll have dogs and people peeing and pooping in the streets.

If they put up more killer wind turbines, they could sanitize the migration routes and birds would not be a problem.
