#1 The drive from S.F. to L.A. on Interstate 5 is depressing. Nothing but dead orchards and dried up farmland laying fallow. There are people who will put their environmental aims, whether they be based in reality or not, above the lives of a half million people. The damned fish isn't even native to the area.
