#4 Depends on the jurisdiction. In Sheriff Dipsh*t's jurisdiction in AZ they would shoot 60-odd rounds into it and then leave and call in the SWAT.

Too bad the heroes didnt get to finish their reports before they learned their mistake:
Said reptile advanced menacingly, hissed, and bared its teeth. It then charged toward me at a high rate of advance. Officer Fife and I drew our sidearms and discharged 30 rounds. Observing that the reptile had not gone down, we re-loaded and discharged 30 more. I then applied my tazer until it stopped moving and assumed a rigid position.
