#1 Ranked among the top 15% of U.S. colleges and named one of the 50 best value public colleges, Baruch College is also among the most ethnically diverse campus in the nation.

Learn Japanese, the language of growing international interest following Japan's economic growth and the increasing global popularity of Japanese pop culture such as anime and video gaming. Expand your language skills through role plays, language exercises, literature, writing hiragana, katakana, and kanji symbols, films, newspaper articles, and cultural field trips. Not sure what level you should register for?

#2 Can we now finally get to broad brush all actors for the action of a few since they apparently have no problem doing it to our military folk?

#3 A lot of the kids in high school and college are anime otaku (fanboys), including my computer-nerd senior. he spent the summer in a "pre-college" program, and every kid in the dorm with him (just about) was into that stuff to some degree. All bright kids, all well-behaved, all of them pretty classy.

This guy was a nutcase. You can no more blame his fascination with Japan for his troubles than you can say that he was driven to it by the King James Bible he was quoting from.

#5 In my experience, martial-arts nutbars own katana. American otaku are more likely to have a shotgun in the closet - trap-shooting's one of those low-impact "sports" which appeal to the stereotypically sedentary fanboy.
