Same argument could well be used for a post-election vote. Bottom line, Pelosi didn't want it to happen.

#3 The tax cuts expire December 31st. If there's a GOP sweep of the House, they'll just be in office at the time the effect of the restored taxes are felt.

Think of it as a screw-you housewarming gift from the outgoing Democrats..

A Flat Lie, they are planning to defeat the extending, nor allow the extending.
(That means higher taxes if they vote NO, Sneaky Yes?)
