#1 Ya know, I think a trade war would be a pretty bad idea right now for both parties. Didn't we do something like this in Great Depression I? Who was it that said history repeats itself? First as tragedy then as comedy.

#2 In the great depression we had an industrial base, and actually got something out of trade. Now? We have an enourmous trade deficit.

#3 Union payoff by Obama put a tariff on imported Chinese tires. Now all tires are going up in price by as much as $40-60 each. Enjoy paying as much as $200 more per set, all so Obama could stay on the Union boss' porch.
