#1 According to this report, Hamas has a military wing and the other two both have military arms. As long as their all considered "targets" I guess thats what they would call a Difference without Distinction.

#3 Seattle radio ABC affiliate KOMO this morning said that 3 of the dead were women. Although not explicitly stated, the tone of the report was such that you could infer they were innocents. This article doesn't make that inference at all.
