#7 I personally think that the USA continuing to bully Cuba and Castro is beyond the pale of ridiculousness. It is absolute absurdity to be still pursuing the claims of Batista-era Cuban property-owners for return of their pre-revolutionary property.

With that said - if I were Castro - right now I would probably convert my entire nation into the Islamic Republic of Cubastan - just to spit in the face of the US government. Castro deserves the last laugh.

#8 You've got it bass-ackwards Ranger, communism is the "absurdity." Castro deserve absolutely nothing. He's a fu**ing communist thug and leadership failure who would have been history a very long time ago if JFK had not lost his nerve at the BOP. He has led what was a beautiful island nation into total bankruptsy and dispair. We owe a big thank you to another democrat womanizer president.
