#1 OSC wrote Ender's Game - a book I had to read soon after joining the Corps. Reminiscent of Starship Trooper. His take is interesting. Unfortunately, I fear uninformed average Americans more then the dimorats.

#2 Card writes so beautifully his work should be required reading in our public schools - and I mean these great articles - and he's a Bush convert to boot. He was quite the liberal until 9/11 - and he "got it" very quickly. He just rocks.
