Russia will gain way more leverage once gas is flowing thru Nord Stream 2.

Autonomy for Donetsk and Lugansk always has been a negotiating point for Minsk. Ukraine doesn't want a place at the table for the leadership of the two breakaway republics.

Only recently has Russia suggested they get that place at the table, itself a negotiating tactic for Volodya.

That is is such an outrage for the US side just shows how little attention has been paid to the region until US security serves began planting stories about it in the media.

Action and intelligent diplomatic solutions were unfortunately delayed due to the Biden Crime Family's activities in the region. No sense in highlighting obvious connections.
