#1 I guess the FAA never heard of NIGHT VISION cameras?
Like used in small day/night Sec-cams that weight under 1 Oz.

#3 So, its a UAV and Amazon's making a delivery to say me, UAV cargo weight * 225 lbs and I catch the little fooker at the "right time". It becomes a MAV and I get a free ride to say, Springfield or Palo Alto or Miami, yeah thats the ticket, Miami.

#4 Shooting down a UAV is the same, legally, as shooting down a manner aircraft. You won't get the murder charges, but you will face a federal interference with an aircraft in flight charge.

Helicopters and airplanes fly overhead at night all the time; all this does is put licensed drone operators in the same category.

#6 Shooting down a UAV is the same, legally, as shooting down a manner aircraft.

Normal aircraft don't hover over my granddaughters while they sunbathe.

Their Dad has a bit more firepower than I do, but combined we're pretty certain that the aforementioned occurrence will promptly cease.

#7 Let me play Devil Advocate for second.
A delivery drone able to deliver say 25+/- LBS.
What happens when a Restricted FAA registered DRONE use is stolen and the GPS locator is disabled.

Think about what terrorists could deliver to, or SPRAY on any location within a 1 mile.


Refer Drones being used in a Blue Thunder manner.
If its below 50 ft. on my property I'll own the pieces.

#8 The way it work as I understand it, if the GPS locator on a drone is disabled,so is the drone.

Cannot fly a drone without GPS locator, otherwise operator would not be able to control it properly.

#9 So they hire a techie for some rewiring... I have seen gps bypass / blocking devices... not simply done but do-able in about 2 hrs from demos I have seen
